Queen Elizabeth Parties at the Ritz
In the last party celebrating her 80th birthday (which was earlier this year), Britain’s Queen Elizabeth celebrated with family and close friends at the Ritz this week. She dazzled her guests in a sparkling floor-length gown, accessorized with sapphires and diamonds.
Altogether more than 300 people attended the opulent soiree, which was hosted in five reception rooms at the exclusive hotel and included a five-course meal. And by staying until the small hours of the morning, the Queen firmly extinguished any remaining doubts about her return to form.
The party was organized by Lady Elizabeth Anson, The Queen’s cousin and confidante.
