Bhutan’s New King Visits India

It looks like the new king of Bhutan is easing well into his role as monarch.
Oxford-educated King Jigme Kesar Namgyel, 26, made his foreign debut in India on Wednesday. He will be on a five-day visit there, during which he will sign a revised treaty of friendship with his hosts.
The young king took over the throne when his father, then King Jigme Singye Wangchuk, abdicated the throne last year.
