March was a short month here at Merry Royals, but here’s the roundup anyway:
British Royals
Prince Charles and Camilla visited Kuwait as part of a tour of Gulf States. Camilla who was said to have charmed their hosts got to sit on a ‘throne’ during the visit.
Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton are still dogged by rumors of wedding plans. The pair went on a skiing trip in Zermatt, Switzerland. Prince William was invited to attend the $2,000-a-head Diner des Tsars, an event which aims to raise money for UNICEF. Kate Middleton, who was #8 in a list of the world’s best dressers, finally had enough of paparazzi and took official action.
Controversy erupted around both young British princes. Prince William was photographed groping another girl (NOT Kate) while Prince Harry had too much to drink (again!).
Queen Elizabeth was alone in the rain while her husband Prince Philip got a gorilla’s behind. More news of the royal Brits here.
Morroco welcomed a new baby: Princess Lalla Khadija. Sweden’s Princess Madeleine was photographed in a bikini. King Carl and Queen Sofia, also of Sweden, had a state visit to Japan. Princess Caroline of Hanover dazzled at the Monte Carlo Rose Ball.
