Update on the New Danish Princess’ Name
We have a few weeks to wait before we find out what the name of the new Danish princess is. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will announce the name on July 1, 2007, at the baby’s christening. The ceremony will be held at the Fredensborg Palace Church, Fredensborg at 11:30 a.m.
There are speculations that the baby will be named after one of the following grand ladies:
* Queen Margrethe, Frederik’s mother
* Ingrid (Frederik’s maternal grandmother)
* Henrietta (Mary’s mother)
