Prince William Gets a Pay Raise

June 19, 2007 by Maricar Macalincag

It’s not just Prince Charles who will enjoy a pay raise. Prince William is also set to receive an income boost upon his 25th birthday on June 21. The income will come from the £6.5 million left to him by his mother Princess Diana. The inheritance will give him some £250,000 to £300,000 a year, according to estimates.

This is in addition to the allowance he already receives from his father Prince Charles, his salary
as an officer of the British Army, and money left to him by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Of course, when he becomes the Prince of Wales, he will have access to the income from the Duchy of Cornwall, which supports Prince Charles.

He ain’t poor, that’s for sure. That’s why treating nine of his pals out to a movie, ice cream and popcorn, and spending £850 on booze is mere peanuts for him.
