ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ENGAGEMENT OF PETER PHILLIPS
30 July 2007
THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEENThe Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Peter Phillips to Autumn, daughter of Mr Brian and Mrs Kitty Kelly.
Here are some not-so-recent photos of the couple. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of them soon.

This will be the first wedding in the British royal family since the Prince Charles and Camilla wed in April 2005. Peter Mark Andrew Phillips, who was born on November 15, 1977 is the only son of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. Peter Phillips and his sister Zara hold no royal title or style. Peter is currently tenth in line to the British Throne. He has no royal duties, and currently works for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh. Autumn Kelly, who is Canadian, is a management consultant.
No date has been set for the wedding.
Best wishes to the merry newly-engaged couple!

This is wonderful news, Autumn seems like a nice, level headed young woman.
It is great news! The couple have pretty much kept out of the limelight. But they both seem nice and great for each other. I wish them the best!
Sure she seems level headed — with all that money coming into play (considering her family background!) she has hit the jackpot - so of course she is going to be on best behaviour. Did she ever work in her aunts strip club? or star in porn movies?
She looks familiar in a not so pleasant way (there is a website for car entusiasts which has an autumn kelly modellong for them -wondering if this is how this couple met?
Hi Tonya,
It seems that the press is none too interested in digging up the unpleasant stories about Autumn. I did manage to find that website, but her photos are no longer there. Well, Peter obviously thinks she’s wonderful for him, so I still wish them the best of married life.
