No Charges in Harrier Incident
The investigation into the shooting of two rare hen harriers at Sandringham two weeks ago has ended, with no charges to be filed against anyone.
Prince Harry, William van Cutsem (a family friend), and David Clarke (gamekeeper at Sandringham) were all questioned by the police regarding the incident. However, since the dead birds have not been found, the police have no evidence with which to proceed. All they have are three witnesses, including a game warden, who heard two shots and saw the birds fall.
Prince Harry and the two others who were questioned said they have no knowledge of the shooting.
The question remains: “What happened to the dead birds?”
