Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson Back Under One Roof
Britain’s Prince Andrew and The Duchess of York are back living under the same roof. But it’s not for any romantic reason.
The ex-spouses, who have remained friends since their divorce, were brought back together by an unfortunate incident. Sarah Ferguson’s house, Dolphin House, had a minor fire last week. A scented candle left in a bathroom started the fire, which left the house in need of some repair.
Prince Andrew was gallant enough to offer Fergie temporary lodging at his own home, Royal Lodge, which he shares with their daughters Prince Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The arrangement could last at least six weeks, during which time, I’m sure the princesses will enjoy having their parents together in the same home.

Whatever brought them back into the same home, I’m very happy to hear it. I hope it will develop quite naturally into a reconciliation and remarriage — a family together once again. (I’m still hoping that my parents will get back together, too!)
