Happy Birthday, Prince Katsura and Princess Ayah
Japan’s Prince Katsura, a first cousin of Emperor Akihito, celebrates his birthday, today, February 11. Originally known as Prince Yoshihito of Mikasa, he received the title Prince Katsura (Katsura-no-miya) and authorization to start a new branch of the Japanese imperial family on January 1, 1988 (via Wikipedia).
Today is also the birthday of Princess Ayah Al-Faisal of Jordan. She is the eldest daughter of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and Princess Aliya Taaba. She is the niece of King Abdullah II of Jordan.
