Kate Middleton’s Proposal to Prince William
Two royal bloggers have posed the question about whether Kate Middleton should/would propose to Prince William. This is the topic tackled by Marilyn in her Royal Report this past Sunday. John and his readers at Royal Anecdotes also looks into this leap year tradition of girls being ‘allowed’ to propose to their guys.
Will she, won’t she?
My bet is on the won’t. She can’t. It’s a surefire way to annoy the Royal Family, and paint Kate in a truly unflattering picture in the media.
Whatever she may be feeling, whether or not she and Prince William have had a secret understanding about their future, popping the question is simply not something that she should do. I don’t think she will, anyway. It would be embarrassing not only to her, but also to Prince William. So far, Kate has been very discreet about their relationship and has handled the pressure very well. I’ll be very shocked if she does propose.
