Behind the Palace Walls: The Royal Family’s Job

I’m live-blogging during ABC’s documentary, “The Royal Family: Behind the Palace Walls“. Right now, it’s about the finances of the royal family and their public roles.

Prince Edward is talking about life as a royal, and being accountable before the British taxpayers. A young man is asking what the royal family’s job is (Feel free to share your thoughts about this in the comments!).

Prince Charles is shown at several meetings, including at walkabouts with the public. The heir is not as stuffy as he may sometimes appear in photos. He is shown smiling a lot and interacting with the people he meets.
