A Medal and a Promotion for Prince Harry
Prince Harry and his fellow soldiers will be receiving medals for their service in Afghanistan. Reports say that the Queen herself will be presenting the awards at a ceremony in Windsor Castle. It is a rare event for the Queen to do this, but it is her grandson after all.

Prince Harry will also receive a promotion from second lieutenant to full lieutenant next month. With it will come a salary raise, from ₤23,475 to ₤28,216 a year.
