Monaco’s Prince Albert Turns 50 amid Wedding Speculations
Happy birthday to Monaco’s reigning Prince Albert! The ruler turned 50 today, and Merry Royals has photos of the celebrations to show you.
But first, it seems that the recent reports of the Prince’s plans to marry his girlfriend Charlene Wittstock are not true. The supposed September wedding was reported by various papers, the Daily Mail, the Telegraph, and UPI, among others. All of them cite the French magazine Point de Vue as the original source of the story. However, a quick response denying the wedding plans was issued by the palace. Her parents, who would be “the first to know”, also said that they had no knowledge about the wedding.
Whatever the source of the story, the Prince’s 50th birthday might have a lot to do with the media frenzy to get him settled down. Is Charlene the one? They certainly look like they’re very happy together. We’ll just have to add them to our royal wedding watch list.

Why work so Hard ????
I have spent the day looking and reading the most interesting posts on this site and it has come to mind that many Royal Families have suffered tremendous loss due to the explosion of our internet. Word travels fast. This includes the best and worst of each day.
I find it hard to respect a society when there achievements are weak even in the highest regarded social network. How is it we allow our people and Royals to become so intertwine with the dazzle and glitter of wealth that common men and women with little or no achievements other then looks can govern our society and be accepted by our privileged royals and upstanding commoner(s).
Does one not need to prove anymore that they our worthy of such a title as prince or princess?
Why have I spent so many years educating and reforming the social infrastructure of this great land to have a no body… a common harlot … win the hearts of our most Special Royal (s).
These people have not the ideals or stamina to achieve the support or love of common man. As their happiness and wants are first and foremost.
Most do not even try to have discreet affairs and to complicate the matters are worsened by them themselves openly boosting of such meager accomplishments.
As I watched a clip on a Royal Gala I wondered why the presents of show girls and models adorned the red carpet. Not a hair do was better then that of my 19 year old daughter. Only a few worn the dignified hat or head jewel. One wore the appropriated gloves. Such a let down . Such a crying shame. Such a shame. Some were so glossy eyed that I would myself would be embarrassed to arrive with them.
Any yet everyday I raise, with out even thanks, to struggle against poverty and corruption and with pay praise and with no funds I do the job of 10 Royals.
