Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton on Skiing Holiday
Prince Charles joined his son Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton on the slopes of Klosters, Switzerland for an intimate family holiday last week.
The fact that Kate was invited to the outing is seen as a sign that she is to join the royal family soon. The appearance of previous royal brides Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson on royal ski holidays had been followed by engagements to Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, respectively (source News.com.au). Kate being given a royal bodyguard while on the slopes has only bolstered these speculations.
People UK has even gone so far as to report that there will be a royal proposal at Christmas.
A highly-placed Royal source said: “A number of bridges have to be crossed before any announcement.
“A Christmas engagement will allow William time to complete stints in all the armed services.
“It will also allow Kate time to be to be gradually introduced to the Royal court and be groomed in such matters as protocol and service.”
It certainly seems that their relationship is at a truly serious stage. Prince Charles was reportedly delighted to have Kate join the skiing party. An engagement announcement seems more and more imminent, and will be gladly celebrated!

Jennym, Last year, Prince Charles wasn’t with them, so this is different.
Sharon, I don’t know either. I hope Kate is doing some work that we just don’t know about.
