The Merry Royals

A Stag and a Scandal for British Royals

The weekend started off on a bright note, with Prince William receiving his wings after RAF training. After the congratulations were over, he and Prince Harry were off to the Isle of Wight for a 72-hour boozy stag party for their cousin Peter Phillips. 72 hours of drunken fun, dropped trousers (Prince William’s, photo of his supposed exposed butt here), barrels and funnels of beer, the future groom with a doll on his arm(photos here) , and yes, more drinks.

From the earlier accounts, it was a very well-behaved party. They did what guys do to send off one of their own to marital bliss. Peter was very game through all the festivities and pranks. There was one instance, though, when it was thought he had gotten lost. But he was just slumped on a doorway, and not really missing.

It would have been just a weekend of fun for the British royals. However, there’s a footnote to the story.

New pilot Prince William had used a Chinook helicopter to fly to the Isle of Wight right after the RAF ceremony. He made a stop in London’s Woolwich Barracks to pick up his brother Harry before proceeding to the party. The helicopter’s co-pilot flew it back to base.

The RAF has defended the flight as authorized and necessary for William to complete his training.

“Having spent a week under instruction with a Chinook helicopter Squadron Prince William flew a legitimate training sortie which tested his new skills to the limit,” an RAF spokesman said.

“Flying at low level Prince William piloted the heavy support RAF Chinook helicopter through the busy London flying lanes to a helicopter landing site in Central London before departing the lanes to the South West, making a water crossing and an approach to a civilian airfield routinely used by Chinook Squadrons.”

“His final flight tested his burgeoning flying skills to the full and he performed very well indeed.”

Nevertheless, the decision has come under fire. Despite the RAF’s statement, some have said that the trip was simply a waste of resources aimed at saving the princes a six-hour journey to a private event.

It’s great when they let their hair down. Show they are “normal” guys.

Love the young royals? Me too! In fact I loved them so much that I wanted to BE ONE. So when I was 20-years-old, I moved away from my hippy parents and my tiny American farm town and settled in glorious LONDON where I hit practically every party in town as I searched for my real-life prince! The hilarious true story of my quest to become a princess has just been published. It’s called SOMEDAY MY PRINCE WILL COME - and if anyone will love it, you royal watchers will!

Spoiled, lazy parasite. Load of wasteful drunks, aren’t they?

Please repeal the Act of Settlement and get rid of these wannabe royals.
