Spanish Royals Welcome Costa Rica’s President
The Spanish royal family welcomed Costa Rica’s President Oscar Arias on his official visit to the country. The royals hosted a dinner for the visiting dignitary on September 10, 2008 at the Royal Palace in Madrid, Spain.
King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia, Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia were all present at the dinner.
President Arias was in Spain to meet with business leaders and to drum up support for debt cancellation for his country.
