Prince William and Prince Harry to Ride Across South Africa

Britain’s Prince William and Prince Harry will take part in a grueling 1000-mile motorcycle rally across South Africa’s Eastern Cape later this month.

The Enduro Africa 08 event aims to raise money for the UNICEF, Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity in Lesotho, and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. For 8 days, motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world will ride across some of the most rugged and isolated terrain in South Africa. There are no road signs throughout the route, which goes through game reserves, tribal areas and wilderness. The riders will be using Honda CRF 230s motorcycles, which will be provided by the organizers.

Each participant needed to raise at least £4,995 in order to ride. Enduro Africa will donate a minimum of £1,500 per participant. In the past years, part of this donation consisted of the motorcycles used in the event. The beneficiary was the charity Riders for Health, which provides motorcycles to health workers in Africa. In some areas, the motorcycles are the only means to deliver health care to people in need.

There will be two groups for this year’s Enduro Africa. The first group has already started their adventure. The princes will be in the second group that will leave for South Africa later this month.

Sentebale, also called The Princes’ Fund for Lesotho, was founded by Prince Harry and Lesotho’s Prince Seeiso to help orphans and vulnerable children who have had to deal with AIDS and poverty. Sentebale, which means “forget me not”, was named in honor of the princes’ mothers, who both worked with AIDS victims and orphans.

    today, i just met mr. len….the old man from UK..who the one teached me to know the meaning of the word…”able”….he a lonelyness man….one duather ( still at London )…not meet for long time….but to day, len told me….may be, she will come next year… and after next year….may he will back to UK…becuase, he not much enegy…ready very old…
    why he come for rest in bkk….when he young…he army….only hight school…..no married…only have girlfriend….one baby together….he still to be the army untill the last…but he told me in the first time….he nothing at UK….only one duather…no house….u know…..what the meaning notthings…..then can’t to take alive when he can’t to work in UK…
    he just…walk alone….dring cheap coffee in the morning….no friends…but only know some…like me…not much…i have met him 3-4time..only him…..i have some question when i talked with…he can’t to take alive in UK….not much monney….nobody support..and don’t need to be a problem…today i asked him for him no.
    then will invite him for some food or coffee…

    today, i tryed to make call to my friends for asked them for join Dave Koz live concert……they said no….but one he a musician…pianist..he working for paino school….very expensive and if you buy 2000 bth….for sure! he can,t to see you….same, if you buy 5000….then…?…if you fouk!….may 1% …….Dave play * waiting for you for you….then?what happen…?
