Queen Elizabeth hosted the summer’s first Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace this week.

Though the get-together was dampened by a rainstorm, The Queen came out well-equipped. To top off her robin’s egg-blue outfit and hat, she carried a clear umbrella for protection.

I admire your very strong leadership, yet compassionate and very loving. Every Christmas since I was little, my family has faithfully watched you Christmas greeting. I have passed this tradition on to my children, Elizabeth and David.
When I was a little girl, I dreamed that you had come to where I lived Weyburn, Saskatchewan. It was so real that your golden coach graced the tiny street, but I was atop my Dad’s shoulders so that I would see you. I was 4 years old, but was and still am a Loyalist.

My 2 sisters and my brother-in-law (from England, graduated from Cambridge) are going to London July 28 – August 11. I can hardly wait.
We plan on visiting Buckingham Palace and many more site.
    God bless our gracious Queen.
