Historic Dual Portrait of Prince William and Prince Harry
January 6, 2010 by Maricar Macalincag
A double portrait of Prince William and Prince Harry was unveiled today at the British National Portrait Gallery in London. This is the first ever portrait of the royal brothers by themselves, instead of in a group.
The painting is by artist Nicky Philipps (photo below) and shows the princes in their Household Cavalry uniforms. It has an informal air to it, with Prince Harry sitting and Prince William leaning casually against a doorway in Clarence House. The sittings occurred in late 2008 and 2009, mostly in the artist’s studio in South Kensington.
Ms. Philipps has this to say about working …read more

Video: Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy Elf Themselves
December 26, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry have been elfed! The prince’s once-again girlfriend has sent her friends a video greeting which features themselves and some friends, dancing as Christmas elves.
You’ve probably seen one of these Christmas videos, made by JibJab. Cropped photos are electronically pasted over the bodies of elves, who dance to “Jingle Bells”. It’s a short video, and you might have to look closely to spot Prince Harry (who makes a hilarious elf!). But he does take center stage a few times. The other elves are Chelsy’s brother Shaun and friends Kirsten Rogers and Lyndon Miller Pegs.

Reunited: Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy
November 11, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Time we look in on Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy, who have been rumored to be reuniting for weeks! The two have definitely reestablished contact, and are slowly allowing themselves to be photographed together in public again.
Reports quote sources close to the couple as saying that the two are “officially back together”. Over the summer, both Chelsy and Prince Harry were reported to be having flings with various personalities. In the end, though, it looks like they really can’t stay away from each other. I hope that whatever really caused their break-up has been ironed out.

Prince Harry once again attended the reception and award ceremony of WellChild. The ceremony was held at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane, London last month, when this video was taken.
Prince Harry met the awardees and their families, interacting easily with them in his charming way. He also presented the award for Best Brave Child in the 2-5 year old category.
In his speech, Prince Harry recalled his past years at the award ceremony (this is his third), and said that “each time I come away humbled by the extraordinary young people that I’ve met”.

October 6, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
After ‘The Queen’ featured his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry might be the next member of the British royal family to have a biopic made of his life (all 25 years of it!).
Talk is rife that the movie is well on its way to being made. The tentative title of the biopic is ‘The Spare’, and will reportedly start filming next year.
Prince Harry’s life has much to offer in terms of movie material. His parents’ relationship and eventual divorce, Princess Diana’s tragic death, Prince Harry’s role in the royal family, his military career, and his relationship with …read more

Reports from this past weekend seem to show that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationships with Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy are moving forward (again, in Prince Harry’s case).

"They’ve decided not to marry just yet. William wants to wait until he is 30 and Kate is fine with that."

Happy 25th Birthday, Prince Harry!
September 15, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Prince Henry Charles Albert David (Prince Harry) turned 25 today!
The prince is spending his birthday just like any other day, on training to become a pilot with the Royal Air Force.
Something has changed for him, however. With this birthday, Prince Harry will receive part of his inheritance from his mother Princess Diana. According to Princess Diana’s will, her sons will be given the income from a portion of her estate, estimated to be worth almost $22 million, upon their 25th birthday.
Happy birthday, Prince Harry!
