Prince Albert wasn’t the only Monaguesque royal who enjoyed the opening day of the Tour de France. His nephews Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi joined in the festivities as well.

Monaco Royals at Monte Carlo Grand Prix 2009

The royal family of Monaco gathered to watch the Formula One Grand Prix over the weekend. The prestigious race, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco, was held this year on May 21-24, 2009. The racing circuit winds through city streets and attracts the best Formula 1 racers in the world.

Prince Albert, Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi, and Pierre Casiraghi were present at the awarding ceremony on the last day.

Monaco’s Royals at the Rose Ball 2009

Monaco’s glamorous royal family rocked the annual Rose Ball last Saturday. The theme of this year’s ‘Rock n’ Rose’ Bal de la Rose, held at the Sporting Club of Monaco, was rock and roll.

The royals turned out in support of the charity event to benefit the Princess Grace Foundation. Prince Albert was in simple tuxedo, nothing too rock and roll there. His dates for the night, his sister Princess Caroline of Hanover and girlfriend Charlene Wittstock, accessorized with the theme in mind. Princess Caroline carried flowers inside a black motorcycle helmet. Charlene, with funky hair in place, wore a single fingerless glove on her left hand.

Prince Albert, Royal Family Lead Monaco National Day Celebrations

It’s been a while since I last saw the royal family of Monaco together in one place. So these photos of their celebrations of Monaco’s National Day, November 19, 2008, are such a treat! Looks like everybody was there, too.

The celebrations included the annual Thanksgiving Mass, awarding of medals at the Prince’s Palace, Army Parade, and an evening at the Opera. Prince Albert, head of the Monagesque royal family, was dashing as always at all the events. Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie, Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi, oh, yes, they were there, and I’ve got photos to show you!
