Prince William, Prince Harry Have Fun at Polo Match
May 11, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Prince Harry and Prince William at the polo match in Coworth Park on May 10, 2009.
Prince William and Prince Harry played at the Audi charity polo match at Coworth Park last Sunday. Looks like it was a fun and relaxing day for everyone present. Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa were among the spectators. (Photos of Prince William and Kate are here).
The two princes didn’t have fun only during the match. The fun-loving brothers, Prince Harry in particular, hammed it up before mounting their horses. Prince William got into some stretching exercises (a good idea before embarking on any physical activity, anyhow). He was certainly in good form doing his routine.
I don’t know about Prince Harry, though. Either he was trying to show his brother some dance moves or he was making fun of Prince William’s stretching routine. But I like his style. He really seemed to put everything he had into the moves. Photos below (and a bonus one of Prince William and Kate!)
Prince William, Kate Middleton at Audi Polo Match
May 11, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Here we’ve got some lovely photos of our favorite royal couple at last! Prince William and Kate Middleton were a cozy couple at the Audi Polo Challenge at Ascot’s Coworth Park Polo Club on Sunday, May 10, 2009.
Prince William and Prince Harry played at the charity polo match with Kate and her sister Pippa watching from the sidelines. Afterwards, Prince William and Kate took a stroll across the grass, looking happy and relaxed.
Kate was sporting a familiar look of a black jacket over a simple blouse, skinny jeans, and brown boots.
With the low profile these two have been keeping in the past months, I am so thrilled to see them looking at ease and enjoying each other’s presence. I get the sense that their relationship has matured and is as strong now as it has ever been. Do you agree?

Breaking News: Prince William, Kate Middleton to Marry this Summer?
March 11, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
The Daily Mail is reporting that Prince William and Kate Middleton will get married this summer.
The report is based on the latest issue of Point de Vue, a French society magazine. The Mail is giving credence to the scoop, saying that Point de Vue has “impeccable contacts within royal families”. Here are the main points of the exclusive front-page report:
- The wedding will be this summer.
- An announcement will be made sometime this month.
- Prince William proposed sometime in January, possibly around the time of Kate’s 27th birthday.
- Other royal families have been asked to keep their schedules clear for the wedding.
- Harewood Estate is being feverishly prepared to be the couple’s new home.
- The British press are clueless about the impending wedding.
I soo wish I could get a copy of this issue of Point de Vue. It could turn out to be the biggest scoop in the history of royal romances. If it’s true, Prince William and Kate have keep the best secret to themselves all this time. And, we’ll see a royal wedding even sooner than we thought!

Prince William, Kate Middleton Hiding from Paps
March 11, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag
Prince William and Kate Middleton seem to be going out of their way to keep a very low profile these days. Good thing we continue to see the occasional photo of them, clearly still together.
Here, the couple, walking paces apart, emerged from Tom’s Kitchen last weekend. Prince William kept his head turned away from the photographers, while Kate tried to shield her face. I wonder how often they see each other these days?

Royal Sweethearts: Prince William and Kate Middleton
February 9, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag

Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoy a cuddle at the Beaufort Polo Club in June, 2008.
So far, we’ve enjoyed photos of married royal sweethearts in our feature about romantic royal couples. I believe that a list of romantic royals will be incomplete without Prince William and Kate Middleton. Though they’re not married (yet), they have been together long enough for people to think of them as on the sure way to wedded bliss.
Just before Valentine’s Day, our featured couple is therefore this young prince and his lovely girlfriend. There is a lot of tenderness between Prince William and Kate, testament to the many years they’ve been together.
Is Kate Middleton Allergic to Horses?
January 28, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag

Doing the rounds of the news today is the report on Readers’ Digest that Kate Middleton, Prince William’s girlfriend, is allergic to horses.
The revelation was allegedly made to Australian author Kathy Lette during a polo match last summer. According to the story, Ms. Lette approached Kate, who was watching the match from a tent. Kate told the author, “I’ve got to pay attention to every second, I’ll be discussing the game in minute detail later on." When asked why she didn’t play polo, Kate revealed that she’s allergic to horses.
There are the obvious questions of for whom or, more importantly, WHY would Kate have to learn the minute details, down to the last second, of the match.
Then, there is the unexpected revelation of her allergies to horses. She has been at countless polo matches and eventing competitions in her five-year relationship with the polo-playing Prince William. Have you ever seen her show any symptoms of being allergic? In other words, is this story rumor or fact?

Rumor: Kate Middleton to Move to New York City
January 20, 2009 by Maricar Macalincag

There are reports going about that Kate Middleton wants to work in New York City, upon the advice of designer Tom Ford and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
The decision is said to have been precipitated by Prince William committing to an extended time in the Royal Air Force. Kate is reportedly keen to “expand her horizons” and gain more work experience. She has worked for clothing chain Jigsaw and is currently involved in her parents’ party supplies company, Party Pieces.
This is not the first time that Kate is rumored to have plans of moving to the Big Apple. Remember the Mario Testino stories? It was right at this time last year that reports came out that Kate would train with photographer Mario Testino in New York. The rumor was subsequently squashed by the lensman himself.
This latest round of reports may be just more of the same. Kate has never been in New York, as far as I know. If she moves away while Prince William is in the RAF, that would mean they would get even fewer chances of seeing each other.
What do you think of this rumor? True or not?

Rumor: Palace Bans Prince William from Partying with Paris Hilton
December 10, 2008 by Maricar Macalincag
There are rumors that Buckingham Palace will not allow Prince William to party with Paris Hilton at a New Year’s Eve party in Sydney, Australia.
Paris will host the Bongo Virus New Year’s Eve event, with Benji Madden set to be the DJ. But now that they have broken up, it’s not clear whether Benji will still be there. There were whispers at the time of the Paris-Benji break up that Prince William may have had something to do with it.
Meanwhile, Prince William has also been invited to the end of the year party, and was said to be keen to go. But someone at the Palace had stepped in to nip that possibility in the bud.

Kate Middleton Bio to be Published
November 26, 2008 by Maricar Macalincag
A biography of Kate Middleton, Prince William’s long-time girlfriend, will be published in April 2009, according to a listing on Amazon.com.
The book, “Kate: Princess in Waiting“, is being written by Claudia Joseph. Joseph is a fashion journalist-turned-news reporter who has worked for Tatler, The Times and the Mail on Sunday.
The biography is described as “an intriguing insight into the extraordinary journey she has made from the back streets of Southall to an apartment in the royal residence Clarence House”. Exclusive interviews with some of Kate’s family and friends, as well as unpublished photographs, are set to appear in the book. However, there is no mention of an interview with Kate herself, who has so far remained tight-lipped and discreet about her royal relationship.
This is not the first book that takes a close look into the life of the special woman in Prince William’s life. Robert Jobson’s “William’s Princess: The Love Story that will Change the Royal Family Forever” was published in September 30, 2006. Almost 3 years later, will we get to know Kate a little better with Joseph’s book?
