Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and her daughter Princess Eugenie had dinner at the Nobu restaurant in London on January 20, 2009.
After the pair emerged from the restaurant, they encountered a homeless man sitting by the curb. The Duchess took some time to talk to the man, before handing him some money. The ever-present photographers captured the charitable act.
Princess Beatrice, who is a student at Goldsmiths College, University of London, presumably wasn’t with her mom and sister because it’s exam time at her university.

Sarah Ferguson partied with fellow celebrities at the grand opening of Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. The Duchess of York wore a black floor-length gown, with a sparkly neckline and straps. She complemented it with a sheer black shawl/scarf, a leopard print clutch, and sparkly jewelry.
Here are some more photos of the duchess at the big party, which reportedly cost $20 million! The organizers didn’t scrimp on anything, including the fireworks which lit up the entire palm-shaped island (photos below).

The luxury resort Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai was the place to be for the world-famous on November 20, 2008.

The flagship resort of Palm Jumeirah, the palm-shaped man-made island in Dubai, had a grand 3-day debut featuring OBE-awardee Kylie Minogue and other entertainers. Hollywood’s luminaries like Robert DeNiro, Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen and Denzel Washington were in attendance.
There were reportedly several royals who also made an appearance on the event’s red carpet. Among them was Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York.
