Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah is in Madrid, Spain to attend an international conference seeking to promote communication among the world’s major religions. He was met at the airport today, July 15, 2008, by Spain’s King Juan Carlos.
A gala dinner was held at the Royal Palace in honor of the visiting king.

Spain’s Royal Couple Witness Nadal’s Win at Wimbledon

Crown Prince Felipe and Crown Princess Letizia of Spain celebrated with their countryman Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon today. Nadal beat Roger Federer to claim his first championship at the All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon. The royal couple have been closely following his career, and today were able to watch his win.
