Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday, July 14.
Well-wishers greeted the birthday girl outside Solliden, the royal summer residence. King Carl XVI Gustaf gave a short speech before the singing of ‘Happy Birthday’. Queen Silvia was also present at the walk-about.
Scandinavian Royals on Trip to the Arctic

The heirs to three thrones are together this week on a study tour of the Arctic. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway are learning more about climate change over the 6-day trip. They left Svalbard, Norway on a Swedish research ship, Oden, on June 21, 2008.
