Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall are eyeing a home out in the English countryside. The pair have put in a £1.75million offer for Nimrod Barn, a six-bedroom converted barn surrounded by 43 acres of land.

The property is in Upper Kilcott, Gloucestershire. Zara and Mike currently live on a cottage on Gatcombe Park. They are waiting to see if their offer on the country house is accepted.

Is this a sign that the two are ready to settle down?

This is Royal Ascot week, June 17-21, 2008. And although the meeting is the most famous in the horse-racing world, all eyes were on the Royal Enclosure.

The British royal family came out in full fashion for the first day. Queen Elizabeth, of course, set the tone with her usual elegance in a cream ensemble with black trim. Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall chose mint green with a matching feather-trimmed hat. Sophie the Countess of Wessex wore a simple dress accented with a green hat.

Zara Phillips will not be participating in the Beijing Olympic Games after her horse, Toytown, suffered an injury. The injury, which has not been specified, was sustained during training.

Katie Nicholl of The Daily Mail is reporting that Zara Phillips will definitely marry her boyfriend Mike Tindall next May (2009). The couple is said to be already secretly engaged. They have postponed the announcement to give way to the wedding of Zara’s brother Peter to Autumn Kelly and also because Zara is concentrating on her coming participation in the Beijing Olympics. We could expect an announcement after the Olympics, according to the report.

As Zara Phillips concentrates on her events during the Badminton Horse Trials, her family and boyfriend are there to support her and cheer her on. Spotted on the grounds during the event were her mother Princess Anne and father Mark Phillips. Her brother Peter and his fiancee Autumn Kelly took time off from preparations for their wedding to also show their support. And of course, Zara’s boyfriend Mike Tindall was there as well.

Zara Phillips has been hard at work at the Badminton Horse Trials in Badminton, England. Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter and reigning world champion is participating in the event which started on May 1 and which will end on May 4.

Zara is riding Glenbuck and Ardfield Magic Star through two days of dressage, one day of cross-country, and one day of showjumping.
