The reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the head of the House of Windsor, began in 1953. She and Prince Philip have four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
- Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales was married to the late Diana, Princess of Wales. He has two adult children from their marriage: Prince William of Wales and Prince Henry of Wales (also known as Prince Harry). Prince Charles is now married to Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall.
- Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, has two children from her marriage to Captain Mark Phillips: Zara Phillips and Peter Phillips. Princess Anne is now married to Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence.
- Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, was once married to Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, with whom he has two children: Princess Beatrice of York and Princess Eugenie of York.
- Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex is married to Sophie, The Countess of Wessex. They have two children: The Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn.
Other Family Members:
- Prince Richard, The Duke of Gloucester, is a first cousin of the Queen. He is married to The Duchess of Gloucester (formerly Birgitte van Deurs), with whom he has three children: Alexander, The Earl of Ulster; The Lady Davina Windsor-Lewis; and The Lady Rose Windsor-Gilman. The Duke and the Duchess fulfill royal duties on behalf of The Queen.
- Prince Edward, The Duke of Kent, is a first cousin of the Queen. He is married to The Duchess of Kent (formerly Katharine Worsley), with whom he has three children: George, The Earl of St Andrews; Lady Helen Taylor; and Lord Nicholas Windsor. The Duke of Kent carries out royal duties for The Queen.
- Prince Michael of Kent is a first cousin of the Queen. He is married to the Princess Michael of Kent (formerly Baroness Marie-Christine von Reibnitz). They have two children: Lord Frederick Windsor and Lady Gabriella Windsor. Prince Michael has occasionally represented the Queen at official functions, but generally does not perform royal duties on her behalf.
- Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, is a first cousin of the Queen. She has two children with the late Sir Angus Ogilvy: James Ogilvy and Marina Ogilvy. Princess Alexandra carries out royal engagements in support of the Queen.
